My Background

Canadian born, in Israel since 1968,  after receiving my BA in psychology and anthropology. Over the years, I was trained as a parent group facilitator. Later, I completed my MSW in the United States as a mental health professional. I have trained to deal with anxiety, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  I have facilitated groups of parents and groups in mental health care and private facilities in the United States and Israel. I have been working with couples and individuals for 20 years, recently privately in my own clinic

  • McGill University, Montreal Canada: BA in Psychology and Anthropology.

  • University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA:  MSW Clinical social work, mental health specialist.

  • University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA: Training and Certification in Psychotherapy and Individual, Couples and Family Therapy, at the University Psychological Clinic and  the University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF).

  • Family and couples' therapy training at the Shiluv Institute, Jerusalem.

  • Accreditation in parents group facilitation, Ministry of Education, Israel.

  • Certification for post-trauma treatment using the protocol of Prolonged Exposure (PE), Ministry of Health, Israel.

  • Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression and OCD.
